Fishing & Hunting
Spirit Lake offers excellent fishing opportunities for all skill levels. Whether spin fishing or fly fishing, the lake offers good fishing throughout the season. The most likely catch will be Tiger Trout. There is also chances of catching native Colorado River Cutthroat Trout.
Watercraft Rentals
Want to get out and enjoy some time on the water?
We offer a variety of watercraft that is available to rent. All of our watercraft is conveniently located at the lake on our private watercraft dock. All watercraft rentals are available directly at the lodge.
Hiking
Whether you are looking for a family friendly short day hike or wanting to cover many miles there is a trail for you. There are many miles of hiking trails connecting throughout the forest. Spirit Lake has two designated trailheads to start from.

If you are just wanting to escape and unplugged this is the place. With our rustic cabins it really just takes you back to basics. With no cell phone service, TV’s, or Wi-Fi you are sure to find some peace and quiet.
Scenic Drives
From the high elevation alpine county down to the steep rocky cliffs near Flaming Gorge and the rolling hills heading into Wyoming. There is plenty of different county to see and breath taking views around every corner.
